Hover over any website entry and you'll see buttons to launch your default browser and automatically log in, or copy the password. On an entry, you can select the folder or type in a new one. Most sections are broken into folders, which let you better organize your entries.
Clicking any of these brings the appropriate section into view. The last of these is a test that rates your overall password security, and it calls out any weak passwords you might have saved, or duplicate passwords in your collection. The app's left rail shows your saved sites, secure notes, form fills, favorites, and security challenge. Creating entries is a snap, and the Mac app includes settings for password length and advanced features like length, character type, and even pronounceability. Desktop LastPass has a simple, single-window interface with a search bar across the top and an Add button in the upper right, for creating new entries for sites, notes, and Web forms. This is a great feature for those who are just getting started with the service.
This not only installs the LastPass plugin for Chrome, Firefox, Opera, and Safari, but it also imports saved passwords from those browsers as well and loads them into LastPass. Next, the Mac app prompted us to download the Mac OS browser installer.
